If tried bad passwords for a couple of times, the account will be locked for 24 hr. You will keep getting “Access Denied” message from MSN Space. See a thread from MSDN Forum.
Here is the story:
WB Editor to MSN Space connection worked fine in my home. I decided to install WB Editor at office.
The password should be the “Secret word” of MSN Space’s “E-mail Publishing” settings. Not the password used to log into MSN space. When realized this, I have already tried and got “Access Denied” message couple of times.
From this point on, even typed in correct “Secret word”, my account locked

“Access Denied” and “Access Denied” again.
One day later, WB Editor suddenly connected to MSN Space without doing anything. What hell is WB Editor doing?

Thanks to RSD (Really Simple Discoverability). It allows WB Editor to detect XML-RPC from user’s blog home page. This greatly simplifies the steps involved in setting up a account in WB Editor.
See a demo of how to connect to wordpress.com.

To connect to blogger.com, WB Editor is now using the Atom API instead of Blogger API or Blogger API 2.0.

By default WB Editor saves blog posts using HTML file format. The post text is saved but images are not.
Web Archive plug-in came to rescue, it saves blog post into MHTML format (.MHT) file. It is actually based on RFC standard 2557, compliant Multipart MIME Message (MHTML web archive)., a.k.a Web Archive.
Blog post and all of its references, including images, css, scripts and etc. now can be bundled into a single compact file.
